YOGA

When teaching yoga, I strive to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere where students can feel at ease or learn to feel at ease with themselves. Each class meets each individual exactly where they’re at with continuous opportunities to practice self-compassion and self-love. Through activating the musculoskeletal system as well as the nervous system, flexibility, mobility and strength improve. Prompts focus on listening to your own body for guidance, cultivating mindfulness and connecting movement with breath to improve a practitioner’s sense of trust in themselves and their ability to manage stress. Classes take into consideration modifications/accommodations, trauma and trauma responses, moon cycles, injuries and chronic illnesses/pain; ensuring a personal yoga practice for all.
