Post-Holiday Detox Yoga Practice

The holidays are a time of joy, connection, and often, a little bit of excess. This yoga class is designed to help you shed any lingering sluggishness, both physically and mentally, and cultivate a sense of lightness and balance.

Yang and Yin

First, the Yang: We'll begin with about 45 minutes of dynamic flow-based practice. This will be an energizing, heated sequence focused on twists, compression, and movement to ignite your digestive fire and stoke your internal heat. Think purifying, strengthening, and moving stagnant energy out of the body.

Then, we'll gracefully transition into the Yin: We will slow down significantly for the remaining 45 minutes. Here, we'll hold deep, passive postures, targeting the connective tissues, ligaments, and fascia, particularly around the hips and spine. This is the time for deep release, meditative stillness, and profound nervous system restoration.

Together, we'll experience not just a physical flush, but a calming of the mind and a restoration of inner equilibrium—the perfect way to reset and feel vibrant for the season ahead.
